Thief
One day, at the village in
Germany, lived a ghost of a boy who like to lived in the shadows and a little girl. Her name is Lielse. The
little girl always have bully from Jean, her friend who hate her so much. She
has no friend, till one day she met her brother even it is a ghost of her
brother.
For not to scare people, the
boy always waiting his sister in the
shadow. She was not afraid the dark, because she knews that her brother was. At
night, was darkness into the room, she would remind him how the sun felt on the
skin, how’s felt when breathe, or how’s felt snow on the tongue. Thats remind
her, she still alive. The boy was missing the life, missing all of there. He
loves book, always reading book. For him book is the source of words, of world.
His sister loves book too. They spent all the night to reading much book in the
basement, in the hidden place. In the basement a house in the poor village of
Germany, his sister who never knows
about the miracle of the words, now speak with the sentences remind how ‘s out
there. The boy said “ we are, all of us, created from a lump of soil. But word
make us different. Human said many words but animals and plants aren’t. That’s
source of reason, mind, life.”
Until one day, the boy felt sick
and should back into his place, the immortal place. But his sister cried and
can’t let her brother to go. Every night she reads books for her brother, she believed what is the boy said, word will
change anything. That’s could give us some life, so we can breathe. And amazing! He was woke up and hugs his
sister.
On the other morning, Jean came
and heard that in the Lielse basement, there was living a ghost. And he tells
to other peoples, to every Lielse’s neighbors. The peoples was angry and came
with a Pastor to expel the ghost. Finally he went in the cold midnight to the
darkest shadow and when he disappeared, he said goodbye for the last time.
